The Universities of Sussex and Brighton and City College bring students from across the UK and many are International. These students generally require accommodation for between 2-4 years.
The economy of Brighton & Hove is diverse with many large employers such as American Express, Lloyds TSB, Legal & General and Brighton & Hove City Council as well as a wealth of smaller companies covering amongst others, the Technical and Media Industries.
The nightlife and entertainment cater for all tastes and there is plenty of historical interest.
Many professionals will commute out of Brighton with its mainline train route to London and ease of access to the A23/A27 road routes.
Brighton is often mentioned in media programs and articles as a desirable place to live and being sandwiched between the English Channel and the South Downs gives it the best of both worlds, the Sea and the Countryside. It is also a factor that prevents over-development which can lead to over-supplying a rental market.
